Young Leader BTEC qualification

We will be offering a new level 2 (GCSE level) qualification for Young Leaders:

BTEC Level 2 in Teamwork and Personal Development in the community

There are two levels you can go for - the Diploma (6 units) or Extended certificate (3 units). Everyone completed module 1 and then you can choose 2 or 5 optional units from the list below. The great news is that if you have completed your Young Leader Award and / or DofE most of the practical work is already completed through recognised prior learning (RPL). This award is open to people who meet the following criteria:

1. Within the year 12 or 13 (you must have completed year 11)
2. Has completed Bronze, Silver or Gold DofE award and/or has completed their Young Leader Award
